The awards programme itself continues. It runs today as the Building London Planning Awards, delivered in partnership with BusinessLDN and the Mayor of London. That programme is entirely independent of this website. It has its own organisers, its own judges, its own entry process and its own online home. Nothing published here is connected to it, endorsed by it, or produced with any involvement from it. If you are looking for the awards, this is not the place to look, and you should search for the current programme by its present name rather than relying on this address.
We acquired this domain after it was released. We are not the former organisers and we have no relationship with them. We do not hold entries, archives, judging records or contact details from the awards, and we cannot help with enquiries about past or present rounds.
What this site is now. London Planning is an independent editorial publication about architecture, planning and the shape of the city. It writes about how London actually gets built: policy as it is applied rather than as it is drafted, the mechanics of consent and delivery, housing, conservation, transport-led development, and the physical decisions that decide whether a street works.
We do not run awards. We do not judge schemes, issue accolades, rank practices or invite entries, and we never will. Any communication claiming to do so in our name is not from us.
We publish under the byline The London Planning Desk. Corrections are welcome and are made openly. If anything here has led you to believe you were reading the awards programme, that is a failure on our part and we want to know, because this page exists precisely so that nobody is misled.
